Repeat prescriptions

If your pet is on long-term medication, it is not always necessary to bring your pet to the surgery each time their tablets run out.

Long-term medications can be ordered over the telephone and dispensed via a repeat prescription - this will be discussed between yourself and the veterinary surgeon treating your pet.

If a prescription is required, we request 24 hours notice to be given to allow our staff to prepare your medications for collection.

Drug legislation requires our veterinary surgeons to re-assess your pet every six months. This also allows us to check your pet's health and assess whether the medication is still suitable.
